Approach
Pursue underreported angles within coffee agriculture, highlighting growers, exporters, and scientists working toward more equitable and sustainable systems. Blend firsthand interviews and research with visual storytelling to bring authenticity and depth to each feature.
Process
I identified story opportunities across different regions, conducted interviews with farmers, producers, and experts, and contributed both written and photographic work to four issues of Drift. Collaborating closely with the editors, I refined each story to align with the magazine’s tone and long-form storytelling style, producing features that connected readers to the people and places shaping the future of coffee.
