Manage and produce content for the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health’s blog, creating original stories that highlight the university’s research and leadership in global health.
I ran the blog, developing editorial strategy, sourcing and writing stories, and collaborating with faculty and researchers to translate their work into accessible, compelling narratives.
Goal
Position Stanford as a leading global health hub by showcasing the breadth and impact of its research, partnerships, and fieldwork through consistent, high-quality storytelling.
Approach
Seek out human-centered stories from across the Stanford community—spotlighting the people behind the research and translating complex academic findings into engaging, readable content.
Process
I identified and pitched stories, conducted interviews with faculty, postdocs, and PhD students, and wrote and edited dozens of articles for publication. Each piece was crafted to balance journalistic clarity with institutional voice, helping expand the center’s visibility and credibility in the global health space.
